Why we do this

Marka grows by word of mouth, not ad budgets. When you bring in someone who ends up paying for Marka, we'd rather share that revenue with you than spend it on ads. That's the whole program: no tiers, no applications, no fine print beyond the Partner Terms.

How payouts work

  • Commissions are held up to 120 days to cover refunds and chargebacks, and the hold gets shorter as your referrals prove out.
  • Payouts need a one-time Stripe setup, done the first time you withdraw.
  • Minimum payout $50.

What counts

  • Paid subscriptions and their renewals, for the referred customer's first 12 months.
  • Refunds and chargebacks reverse the commission for that payment.
  • Your own accounts don't count.

Questions

How much do I earn?

30% of every payment someone you referred makes to Marka, for their first 12 months. There is no cap on how many people you refer.

When do I get paid?

Once your upcoming earnings reach $50 you can withdraw them from the partner portal. Payouts run through Stripe, and the first withdrawal asks you to set that up.

Why is my commission pending?

Commissions are held up to 120 days to cover refunds and chargebacks; the hold gets shorter as your referrals prove out.

Who can I refer?

Anyone who does not already have a Marka account. Referring yourself, or a second account of your own, does not earn a commission.

What happens if someone cancels or refunds?

A cancellation simply stops future commissions. A refund or chargeback reverses the commission for that payment, which is what the holding period covers.

Do I need to set anything up?

No. Your link already exists and earnings accrue without any setup. Stripe details are only needed the first time you withdraw.

Do the people I refer get a discount?

No. Their price is the same as everyone's; you earn a commission on it.
